Free solar training webinar on battery safety and maintenance offers NABCEP continuing ed credit

Solar Energy International and Trojan Battery have teamed up to offer this informational session on these topics, and present a brief introduction to SEI's new PV203 online course: Battery-Based PV Systems and Code Criteria. This course builds upon the core concepts from PV101, with a specific emphasis on battery-based system design. Students will work through step-by-step design process for battery-based applications, including stand-alone (off-grid), grid-tied with battery back-up, and hybrid systems. Topics such as load analysis, component selection, battery safety, voltage drop, and commissioning procedures will be presented.
This course is registered with North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) for one hour of Continuing Education Credits (CEC).
