SEI Solar PV Training Alumni Spotlight

Tom is a Solar Consultant and the Marketing Director for Pure Logic Clean Energy Systems, based out of Ft. Collins, CO and now serving the Caribbean from a second headquarters located on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. After graduating from The Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado at Boulder, gaining sales & marketing experience in the Outdoor and Travel industries and solidifying his goals to help grow the renewable energy industry, he sought out advice from friends and mentors in the renewable energy industry, who he claims, "all directed me to SEI to further expand my technical knowledge."Heeding the advice, he completed several SEI courses while working as a PV installer, including: PV Design and Installation, Solar Business and Technical Sales, Renewable Energy for the Developing World and Introduction to Renewable Energy. Since then, he's passed the NABCEP Entry Level Exam, switched to his current job selling PV systems in Colorado and the Caribbean and qualified to sit for the NABCEP PV Technical Sales Exam, which he plans to take and pass during the August 2012 window.
