Solar Energy International Educational Center Improvements Become Reality With Support
December 5, 2011
By Holly Loff, Solar Energy International Development Associate
Tomorrow is the big day!
That's right Colorado Gives Day, Tuesday, Dec. 6, is tomorrow. Colorado Gives Day is a 24-hour period of online giving where every donation made to Solar Energy International at www.givingfirst.org/solarenergy gets a boost from the First Bank Incentive Fund.
This is part five in a five-part blog series leading up to Colorado Gives Day. Each day we have highlighted one of the 2012 SEI Outreach goals.
In 2012, Solar Energy International plans to continue making improvements to the SEI Educational Center in Paonia. Included are plans to build permanent training equipment storage after the dis-assembly of the old out-buildings, last summer, which were original to the property.
Ultimately, SEI plans for the Educational Center to have state-of-the-art classroom spaces, containing a student lounge, library, new bathroom facilities, and a faculty area. The construction of permanent training equipment storage structures and additional restrooms at the Education Center is one of the first phases in the long-range campus build-out plan.
Your donation to SEI will help to further the Educational Center campus improvements. If you donate here on Dec. 6, your donation will get a boost from FirstBank ... Your donation, only bigger!
