Likewise, SEI’s instructors, besides loving to teach, come to train at SEI's Paonia facility because of PV lab filled with the latest technology. SEI's instructors and students get to work with the newest products on the market.
Our lab facility contains a diverse line of products that give instructors and students a comprehensive learning experience. And visit SEI to see the products in use - or work with them yourself by registering for an SEI lab week, such as our newest workshop, PV351L: Tools and Techniques for Operation & Maintenance Lab Week offered in both August and October this year.

Training the Trainers in Haiti
SEI recently returned from Haiti working with the Solar Electric Light Fund at remote PV powered hospitals. SEI's job was to “train the trainers” – teaching SELF technicians to train onsite hospital staff including the Site Energy Managers and the onsite Operators and Maintainers of the solar PV systems.
Eight SELF technicians were chosen to attend the training and all learned how to teach to the various hospital staff. This six day “train the trainers” course was spent both in the classroom learning teaching pedagogy, reviewing the curriculum, practicing teaching in front of the class, and also going to two remote hospitals for the students to practice teaching with each other’s support.
