In 2006, SEI installed a 1.28kW PV system with a Sunnyboy Inverter at the Utah State Energy Office, as part of their commitment to clean energy sources. Real-time solar energy and weather data is displayed in the lobby of their office, as well as the on their website.

Salt Lake City is a great place to visit. During the early spring workshops, you may want to consider adding on to your trip as there are four world-class ski resorts that are located near Salt Lake City. In the summer, there are lots of outdoor concerts and festivals for you to go to after class. The Salt Lake City Convention and Visitors Bureau’s informative website has information on all of these activities, and you can book hotels, plane tickets, and rental cars.

You also may want to schedule time to take a tour of the famous Mormon Tabernacle in Temple Square, which is located at 50 W. North Temple. It was so well designed acoustically that one can literally hear a pin drop. The temple is open from 9am until 9pm. Tours are free.
