April E. Clark always uses her middle initial to stand out in the sea of April Clarks in the world. She's a trained journalist, weekly newspaper columnist and stand-up comic skilled in public relations, interviewing, editing, feature writing, graphic arts, multimedia production, web design, and social networking. The Society of Professional Journalists, Colorado Press Association and Colorado Mountain News Media have recognized April for her notable writing and graphic achievements. A Colorado transplant from Indiana, April makes a mean deviled egg, loves skiing and tennis, and has a knack for predicting football game outcomes for her local paper. She's a Purdue University and Poynter Institute for Media Studies alumna who roots for the Boilermakers, Colts, Cubs and Rockies when they take the field. She's happy to share tomatoes and basil from her garden and the Solar Energy International vision of achieving a more sustainable world for future generations.
