We are asking for your continued support of our nonprofit mission as the year draws to an end.  Our objective is to raise awareness about the increasing need for quality renewable energy technical education and training worldwide.

If you didn’t know, SEI was founded in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization. Our mission is to provide industry-leading technical training and expertise in renewable energy to empower people, communities, and businesses worldwide. Why? Because we envision a world powered by renewable energy!

Every year, our organization holds an end of the year membership drive and giving campaign to raise money to fund educational and scholarship opportunities for underserved populations and communities worldwide.  Many of the people we serve are benefiting from our efforts where adoption of renewable energy may be the ONLY means of electricity. Our training programs are providing a career pathway to help individuals prosper while ensuring a highly skilled clean energy workforce worldwide.

 

Your donation to SEI is critical to the future of sustainable renewable energy adoption all over the world.  The monies collected through this campaign serve as the bedrock for the scholarships and operational resources needed to deliver the highly technical training and curriculum to ensure renewable energy is not only being deployed worldwide, but most importantly, in a manner in which these systems are installed safely and will continue to function and provide energy for years to come.

 

The stories of our 35,000+ alumni make up the SEI story and serve as indicators as to how well we are meeting our mission and vision. The stories shared with us every day continue to inspire us to improve and innovate…our curriculum, our hands-on training, and the SEI experience.

 

Stories from a Peace Corp worker who took SEI training in both our English and Spanish courses to ensure safe and functional solar PV installations in the villages he is helping in central america; to the United States veteran who transitioned from military service to a PV installer career in her local community; Native American tribal leaders who now have quiet and clean power to provide electricity for their local community center; a woman who has not only landed a job in the solar industry, but is the lead installer on her job site crew; to an 8th grade science teacher who is integrating renewable energy technology curriculum into his classroom to help inspire our future energy leaders.

There is true impact that SEI is having not just on an individual basis but on a global scale and our ability to continue having this impact relies on contributions from supporters like you.   I encourage you to seize the moment, and create something good for the world and its people through renewable energy by becoming a member or making a donation to Solar Energy International (SEI).
