Solar Training - Thermal

Participants in this workshop will learn the theory, design considerations and installation strategies necessary to install and maintain a solar domestic hot water system. Passive solar water heaters, drainback systems, antifreeze systems, and photovoltaic powered systems are discussed in depth, as well as an introduction to pool and space heating systems. The workshop will include some hands-on labs and tours of solar hot water systems.

NABCEP Continuing Education - PV Installer Recertification: 2 Job Task Analysis Training Hours. Live webinar session will take place on Friday, May 4, from 1-3 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. Long-time SEI instructor Ken Gardner will share lessons learned from on-the-job experience. This training presentation will take about two hours, and counts towards NABCEP Continuing Education - PV Installer Recertification: 2 Job Task Analysis Hours.

Solar Energy International is a provider of the NABCEP Solar Heating Entry Level Exam (ELE).  SEI proctors the NABCEP for Solar Heating in its Paper & Pencil format on select Friday evenings after some of our ST101 Solar Hot Water Design and Installation workshops.
