Teacher Training
In the summer of 2007, SEI fulfilled a longstanding need by introducing an annual accredited workshop designed to "train the trainers." Taught at SEI's Carbondale, Colorado facility, this workshop allows teachers from all over the country to gain an understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy concepts and hands-on activities that can be implemented in any classroom. It also allows them to forge relationships with other educators with similar interests. Participants are eligible to receive extended studies credit through Mesa State College.
