PV Entry Level Exam Package

• PV101: Solar Electric Design and Installation (Grid-Direct): August 19-23, 2013, in Oak Brook, IL

Within 3 to 4 business days of registration, you will receive an email from seionline@solarenergy.org that contains your username, password and login instructions so that you can begin work on PV 101 PREP. PV 101 PREP is a self paced instructorless course that will take an estimated 10 hours to complete. It is mandatory that you complete the PREP course prior to the beginning of PV101. You must bring your printed Record of Completion from the PREP course to your in-person PV101 workshop. For PV 101 PREP, you will have 24/7 access until the end date of the PV101 course.

• PV203 PREP: Battery-based PV System Fundamentals: Immediately following your completion of the PV101, you'll be enrolled in this 18 hour online, on-demand course that you can take at any time. Log in details will be emailed to you.

• NABCEP Entry Level Exam via computer-based testing: Once you complete both the PV101 and the PVOL203PREP, you are eligible to take the NABCEP Entry Level Exam. Contact SEI Student Services at: sei@solarenergy.org or (970) 963-8855. They will walk you through the process of scheduling. As part of this package, you must take your Entry Level Exam by October 30, 2013.

Course materials will be handed out on the first day of the workshop.
