Hal Aronson

Hal Aronson is the Co-founder of WE CARE Solar, which provides stand alone solar PV systems to help mothers in the developing world.  He has taught solar in the schools for 12 years (since 1998) and helped develop the Solar Schoolhouse program (Rahus).  His current work includes creating PV training programs for inner city youth and training people to bring solar PV to the developing world.  Hal earned a Ph.D. in Sociology for his research on the Environmental Justice Movement and he holds a Single Subject teaching credential.  One of  his great pleasures is his yearly trip to Carbondale to teach solar in the schools with SEI.
