Ian Woofenden

Ian Woofenden is Solar Energy International's Northwest coordinator. He has coordinated and co-taught SEI's PV, Wind, Micro-hydro, and Homebuilt Wind Turbines workshops in the San Juan Islands in Washington State and Paonia, Colorado. Ian has spent the last 14 years coordinating and co-teaching workshops in the NW and eight years coordinating and co-teaching workshops in Costa Rica. As senior editor for Home Power Magazine, Ian deals with authors and RE industry people all over the world. He is the author of "Wind Power for Dummies" and has lived off-grid for 20+ years with his large family.
