JR Whitley
  NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer |
J.R. Whitley is a licensed electrician and NABCEP certified PV installer, in North Carolina. A graduate of Appalachian State University’s Appropriate Technology Department, he has been working with Southern Energy Management since 2006. J.R. has been lead installer on systems ranging in size from 1 module to 1 megawatt. In recent years he has worked primarily in the post-construction realm, providing operations and maintenance services and conducting inspections for utility owned and privately owned PV systems. J.R. also teaches at Central Carolina Community College.
