Tommy Jacoby

Tommy began his career installing PV systems in 2003 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to entering the industry, he received a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in Environmental Economics and Policy. An SEI alumni, and NABCEP™ certified PV installer, Tommy has extensive experience designing, installing, and servicing PV systems for both residential and commercial applications. Tommy serves as an SEI instructor from Austin, Texas, where he provides PV system design and consultation services, as well as, third-party inspection, testing, and commissioning. Supporting the deployment of PV to empower communities throughout the developing world is one of his personal goals. When he is not working, he enjoys fly-fishing, kayaking, canoeing, travelling, cycling, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. He is well-versed in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and is fortunate to have travelled and volunteered throughout several remote regions of South America.
