AEE Dealer Trainings:

Registration ONLY through AEE Solar

 

AEE Solar is having their Second Annual AEE Solar Dealer Conference in Mesa, Arizona. SEI and AEE have partnered together to offer two SEI PV training workshops to coincide with the conference. Dealers can enroll in the Grid-Tied PV from Februrary 12 - 16, and/or Advanced PV: Design Criteria and NEC Compliance from February 23 - 27, 2009. The Grid-Tied PV workshop is 5 days long and consists of 4 days of classroom lecture and one day of hands-on labs and a mock-up installation of grid-tied system. The Advanced PV workshop is also 5 days long and consists of 4 days of classroom lecture and one day of a mock-up installation of a stand-alone system. Both workshops will include a tour of the Arizona State University’s PV Test Lab.

Students must register through AEE Solar. Do not register through SEI. Registration is limited to 25 people for each class, so be sure to register early! Please feel free to call Jeff Spies with any questions at 602-773-6773 or e-mail at jspies@aeesolar.com.


Requirements:
In order to take the Advanced PV workshop, students must be a graduate of the Grid-Tied PV (formerly called Utility Interactive PV) workshop, PV Design Online course, or PV Design and Installation workshop, unless you get special permission from the SEI instructor.

The Certificate of Completion from the workshops count towards the educational requirement for Category “B” of NABCEP’s Solar PV Installer Certification. In addition, the Grid-Tied PV workshop fulfills the educational requirement to take the NABCEP Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge Exam and the Advanced PV: Design Criteria and NEC Compliance counts toward continuing education credits for NABCEP recertification.

Grid-Tied PV Topics Include:
