: Solar O&M: Utilizing DAS Info for Remote Troubleshooting

Data acquisition systems (DAS) and remote monitoring are a key aspect of any effective PV system operations and maintenance (O&M) program. Platforms, terminology, and available data vary by system and provider, but the goal  is the same: allow O&M providers to verify that a system is performing properly and, when it isn’t, provide the tools and data necessary to identify the issue(s) before deploying personnel to the site. In some cases, remote analysis can  even negate the need for a truck-roll altogether.

what you will learn

This training session is targeted towards asset managers, O&M service providers, and utilities, and will focus on distributed generation in the commercial and industrial (C&I) and residential sectors. The goal is more effective utilization of DAS platforms: this can result in more efficient and cost-effective reactive maintenance as well as better insight into ongoing system production, which is critical information when performance guarantees are part of the O&M equation.

In-depth presentations from AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge, eGauge, and Solar Energy International will provide a wide range of information from manufacturer-specific and inverter-agnostic platforms, giving attendees a strong grasp of the functionality, insight, and data-driven power these monitoring systems can contribute.
