Tommy has extensive experience designing and managing photovoltaic projects. As an independent contractor, Tommy designs and manages PV installations, and offers third-party PV system inspection, testing, and commissioning services. A NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional since 2006, Tommy works with grid-direct, grid-interactive with battery backup, and off-grid PV projects all over the world. He has designed and managed photovoltaic installations for a variety of private and public entities, totaling several megawatts of installed capacity. Tommy has more than 2,000 hours of instructional experience teaching PV system design and installation, and previously served as a PV Technical Editor for SolarPro Magazine.
