Tom is a licensed engineer with over 13 years of experience in the solar industry. He is the owner of Renewable Engineering, where he provides consulting, engineering, design, training, and installation services primarily for the solar industry. Prior to joining SEI, Tom managed and was the lead instructor for the nationally recognized Renewable Energy Program at San Juan College for the past nine years. Before that he worked as a Photovoltaic Project Engineer for a solar contractor in California.
Tom holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with an empasis in renewable energy technology from New Mexico State University. He is an SEI alumnus and is an expert in using and training others how to use SketchUp for solar applications. He enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and building things that he designs.
