An SEI instructor since 2007, Rebekah is a licensed electrician, a NABCEP Board Member, and a certified PV Installation Professional. She represents SEI as a technical committee member for NFPA 800, Battery Safety Code, and as a principal voting member of Code-Making Panel 4 of the National Electrical Code (NEC), a role she has held for the past four Code cycles.
Rebekah began her full-time career as a residential-scale solar installer in 2005. By 2009, she had transitioned to working for a project developer building utility-scale PV systems in North Carolina. From 2019 to 2022, she worked as a hardware engineer within an R&D division at. Airbnb. Rebekah is now a Senior Consultant at Solar Tech Collective.
