Mike is a registered professional engineer in New York State, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering, a MS in Environmental Engineering, and a MBA in Marketing and Communications. In 2003, he began his own solar company in New York State where he designed and installed over 300 residential and small commercial PV systems. He later began his PV teaching career as an Adjunct Instructor at a local community college in 2006. There, he taught workforce development courses in the design and installation of PV systems. Later, he became a trainer of other PV instructors in the Department of Energy’s Solar Instructor Training Network (SITN). Since 2012, Mike has been an active SEI instructor teaching both online and hands-on-laboratory courses. He is also an IREC certified instructor in PV Installations and Technical Sales. He is fluent in both English and French. Mike serves on the NABCEP exam writing committee for the PV Technical Sales Exam.
