Solar Energy International is excited to announce the promotion of Will White to Director of Business Development. In this new role, he will be focusing on expanding the reach of our contract training, curriculum licensing, and workforce development initiatives. He will be concentrating on the English-Speaking Americas, including the United States, Canada, and English-speaking Caribbean nations.
SEI offers custom in-person courses, practical hands-on workshops and instructor-led online training workshops to PV designers, installers, and solar business professionals. Our contract training programs are designed to meet the needs of EPCs, manufacturers, wholesale distributors, government, and other businesses involved in the rapidly growing renewable energy and PV markets. Additionally, our Curriculum Licensing Program is a key way for training institutions to avoid reinventing the wheel when developing their own programs. We provide a fully-developed, fully-packaged training curriculum.
Will has been working at SEI since July 2016 as a solar subject matter expert, curriculum developer, and instructor. Before joining SEI, he spent almost 11 years working for a solar installation company, primarily in operations. He’s been a NABCEP certified PV Installation Professional since 2006 and brings a unique combination of industry experience and in-depth knowledge of SEI’s curriculum and instruction practices to this newly created position.
