Tuition Incentive: Receive tuition incentive pricing ($100 off per course) when paying for the entire certificate program in full, on the day of registration for the entire certificate path. If you choose this option, you may skip the Payment Plan section below.
Payment Plan Program: You can choose to apply for a payment plan to pay for your Certificate Program over time. You do not qualify for the tuition incentive if you opt for the tuition payment plan. Payment plan is not offered if ALL training is being done in-person. If you choose this option, please fill out the Payment Plan Section below.
Workforce Funding: Choose this only if you are working with a Workforce Office Counselor to received funds towards this training tuition.
GI Bill/VA Funding: Choose only if you are eligible for VA educational benefits.
One Course at a Time: Choose to register and pay for one course at a time as you work towards full completion of the Certificate Program
In-Person Courses - Additional Student Financial Responsibility
Students are responsible for all travel, lodging, and meals while taking in-person classes. Solar Energy International does not provide any meals, lodging, or assistance with travel. Students who are taking in-person classes must plan accordingly. If you are a Veteran, and eligible for Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA), that funding is not disbursed by the VA until after classes so you must be prepared to pay for all travel, accommodations, and meals up front. Please check with the VA directly for information about your eligibility for MHA. By checking this box you agree that you accept full responsibility and commit to having a full plan in place before your arrival to secure lodging accommodations and have enough funds to support your travel, stay, and meals for the duration of your class(es).

Certificate Program Cancellation and Refund Policy

Certificate Program Cancellation and Refund Policy: Students not accepted to the school are entitled to all moneys paid. Students who cancel this contract by notifying the school within three (3) business days are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. Students, who withdraw after three (3) business days, but before commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid except the maximum cancellation charge of $150.00 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less. In the case of students withdrawing after commencement of classes, the school will retain a cancellation charge plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the percentage of contact hours attended (if training is offered as distance education: “based on the percentage of no. of lessons completed”). The refund is based on the official date of termination or formal documented withdrawal. If you are unable to complete your course due to illness or natural disaster, please contact the administration office.

Upon acceptance into the certificate and payment plan program, I agree to make payments in a timely manner according to the agreed upon payment plan. (Once accepted into the certificate program and payment plan, an SEI Student Services representative will contact you to set up your workshop schedule and payment plan details. The payment plan consists of $500 downpayment and a monthly payment of $500 (monthly payment can be less, please discuss with your Student Advisor)).
Payment plan is only available to students that can provide a US Social Security number.
Payment plan is not available to students taking all courses in person. Some of the courses must be taken online.
Final payment of course tuition is to be paid in full no longer than 6 months past the start date of the last course or workshop.
Certificate of completion for your Certificate Program will be mailed to you upon receipt of final payment
Failure to pay in full by contract date will result in collection proceedings

I acknowledge and agree that, upon acceptance into the payment plan program, should I fail to pay tuition in full within 6 months after the start date of the last course or workshop, Solar Energy International shall be entitled to recover interest, all reasonable costs and expenses of collection and/or suit, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees. Payments more than 30 days past due shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% APR) from the date the payment is due. If payments required by this agreement are not paid when due, the entire principal amount outstanding shall at once become due and payable. This provision applies regardless of whether Solar Energy International files a legal action. All rights concerning the foregoing remedies and the right to recover attorneys fees shall survive any termination of this agreement.
