LARGE-SCALE GROUND-MOUNTED PV INSTALLATION SAFETY NABCEP CE Hours: 8 hours – Large ground-mounted PV installations present unique hazards requiring specialized safety training, including DC circuits operating at up to 1500 volts and thousands of amps, AC circuits up to 690 volts, and hazards associated with trenching and the use of heavy machinery. This 8-hr online on-demand course covers site hazards and control methods specific to large ground-mounted PV installations.

Solar Energy International (SEI)’s technical consulting program for solar market development in rural communities, Solar Forward, has officially surpassed the 1-MW mark of new, installed solar across rural Colorado. The program has yielded 1.2 MW of installed solar to-date and numbers continue to climb.
