We are very grateful to the instructors and students who worked throughout the week with a positive and strong spirit. We had an excellent group of students from 7 different countries, which included successful business owners, recent university graduates, professional engineers, and those passionate about the solar industry seeking a career change. The graduates of the workshop are now part of over 400 Spanish speakers who took training’s with SEI’s Spanish Program in 2015.
We all made friends and meaningful connections for the future. We passed evenings talking and connecting over beer and pizza, and had a wonderful evening beneath the stars at a nearby thermal hot springs. During the class the students gained invaluable hands on experience installing three different PV systems focused on technologies and applications common in the Latin American market. We at SEI are happy our 2nd Spanish lab training of 2015 helped us achieve our goal of empowering and supporting the growth of the solar industry in Latin America.
