SEI and CIAPR present the CPVSP Certification, tailored for CIAPR engineers in Puerto Rico. This program includes five courses focusing on PV Design for Stand-Alone, Multimode, and Microgrid systems, addressing Puerto Rico’s specific energy needs. Requirements:
- CIAPR membership is mandatory. This program helps CIAPR engineers comply with Puerto Rico interconnection requirements (AEEPR Regulation 7544) and relevant laws (PPPE, OGPE Regulation 7796). Non-members or those with questions can visit this website.
- Prerequisites: CPVP certificate OR FVOL101 + FVOL203 Certificate OR take prerequisite courses: FVOL101 + FVOL203 by registering with a special discount here.
- Complete the program within 18 months.
- Provide your CIAPR license number after registration. Ensure your name matches CIAPR records for a smooth certificate issuance process.

-Certification Level: This is a 2nd Level Certification.
-Special Considerations: CPVP-certified students need to complete only the remaining courses. The program must be completed within 18 months.
