SEI’s Solar In the Schools (SIS) program is empowering K-12 teachers and students through renewable energy training, both online and in-person through experiential learning. This year, the program delivered hands-on learning presentations and training to over 800 students! With two focuses of the program, one aligned with younger students (K-8), and the other aimed at highschoolers, the program is having an impact across Colorado and beyond. Here’s how young hearts and minds were shaped by the program this year:
The future is bright for our youth! With the help of this program, many will be able to make their own informed decisions about energy and future RE career paths. For this very reason, the SIS program is endeavoring to deliver an even greater impact in 2023.
