SEI Team Members Highlight Importance of Training in New IREC Solar Career Map Video
SEI’s Rebekah Hren, Kelly Larson, Brad Burkhartzmeyer, JR Whitley, and Carlos Abad were interviewed by IREC to promote the importance of training as a resource in the new Solar Career Map.

The Solar Career Map explores an expanding universe of solar-energy occupations, describing diverse jobs across the industry, charting possible progression between them, and identifying the sorts of credentials necessary to do them well.
Designed to demonstrate the breadth of the industry and its critical occupations, as well as the necessity for integrated solar training in a variety of related fields, the Solar Career Map emerged from a simple vision: High-quality work and high-quality jobs are critical to building a robust, high-quality solar industry. This value proposition suggests that excellence is both possible and necessary across a broad spectrum of solar careers. The map describes how to get there.

SEI Solar Professionals Certificate Program Taking Applications for Fall / Winter 2015
Do YOU Have What it Takes?
SEI’s Solar Professionals Certificate Program (SPCP) is our most rigorous training program where you will have the opportunity to complete a multi-course track leading towards completing a program of study with SEI.
or call SEI Student Services at: (970) 527-7657 x1
As the solar industry becomes more and more competitive, SEI’s full training program will help you stand apart from the growing number of people who have taken only the bare minimum to sit for NABCEP Certification or who have not received any formal training at all.
If you are considering completing a path of training through SPCP in 2015, you will want to apply for admission and scheduling of your prerequisite training as soon as possible in order to complete the program in a timely manner this year.
Program completion is still possible if you start later in the training year, but becomes more and more difficult from a scheduling standpoint due to our full courses. Contact SEI Student Services today to speak to a SPCP advisor or complete the online application today.
